Is spraying crops with drones legal in the US?

Yes, it is legal to spray crops with drones but it does require exemptions from the FAA and certificates from your state department of agriculture.

Can we apply other products besides pesticides?

Yes, the drones can used in many ways spraying water for irrigation, disinfectant, liquid fertilizer. They also come with a granular spreader that can used to spread fertilizer, grass seed, cover crop seed, ice melt, and even spreading fish food for large ponds.

Can Rocoza help with you to fly legally?

Yes, we offer a package with our drones that includes the paperwork needed for the FAA and to help you with getting the required documents from your local department of ag.

Does Rocoza offer custom application?

Yes we do custom application, but it may require a minimum number of acres. Please contact us so we can discuss your needs.

How much does drone spraying cost?

farmers have always been charged for custom work. The cost per acre will be determined by field size, product, and how much is required.

How much does a crop spraying drone cost?

The cost will be based on which drone you need for your particular operation. Packages include RTK enabled drone, remote controller, batteries, charger and spreader system. This package will be everything you need to get started, but we have other options you may be interested in. Please contact us and we will work to get you the best price.

How many acres a day can I spay with a drone?

That will depend on many factors including how much product you are applying, field layout, field access and which drone you use. Generally speaking you should see the following based on 2 gallons per acre. T10 – 12-14 acres per hour, T20 – 20-24 acres per hour, T30 – 35-40 acres per hour. With these numbers you should be able to spray 100-400 acres per day.
